Rising condensate in pipeline system, steam bubbles containing in condensate or from flashing steam. These steam bubbles or flashing steam meet water at lower temperature. The steam bubbles abruptly implode, change state to liquid, vacuum formed in rapidly in condensate create water hammer.

CDP 34 Condensate dampening pot containing flash steam upper inside the pot, no possible escape to main pipeline therefor reduce condensate shocks, and water hammer.
