WT1000 THERMOSTATIC STEAM TRAP

WT1000 Thermostatic Steam Trap small discharge flow, use the system tracing condensate discharge, main pipeline. Normal state not working steam trap will open, inside integrated inside stainless steel below, when contact with saturated steam below will expand to close the steam trap. When the internal temperature drops to 15˚C below the saturated steam temperature below will contract, the steam trap will open to discharge condensate out.

Advantages:

 - Ability to discharge large air flow when starting the system.

 - Compact, lightweight.

 - Below stainless steel structure, anti-water hammer welding.

 - Automatic discharge when the steam trap is cold.

 - Barstock stainless steel material.

Model WT1000 (Non-Repairable)
Sizes 1/2”, 3/4”
Connections NPT
Body Material Stainless Steel
PMO Max. Operating Pressure 300 PSIG
TMO Max. Operating Temperature Saturated Steam Temperature
PMA Max. Allowable Pressure 1032 PSIG @ 100ºF
TMA Max. Allowable Temperature 750ºF @ 800 PSIG

How It Works:

This thermostatic trap contains a welded stainless steel thermal element that expands when heated and contracts when cooled to 5˚F below saturated steam temperature. When air or sub-cooled condensate are present, the trap is in the open discharge position. When steam reaches the trap, the element expands and closes off tightly.
