Resistant to Dirt and Debris: The discharge orifice is mounted at the top of the trap body, which prevents loose scale and dirt from easily clogging or damaging the valve and seat
Waterhammer Resistant: The rugged mechanical design stands up well against severe pressure shocks and waterhammer events common in industrial steam networks.
In-Line Repairability: All internal working components are attached directly to the cover, allowing technicians to service or repair the unit without removing the trap body from the piping.
Superheated Steam Capability: When equipped with an optional internal check valve, the trap maintains its water seal (prime) and handles superheated steam safely.
Long Operational Life: Stainless steel internals with hardened valves and seats reduce wear and extend service life far beyond many alternative trap designs.
Compact and Economical: Designed similarly to the IB1032 series but featuring a larger chamber and structure, the 1033 model withstands pressures up to 250 PSIG and offers a discharge capacity of up to 2,100 lbs/hour, while remaining suitable for confined installation spaces thanks to a face-to-face dimension of just 6.625 inches.
